These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CalcMyGrades website, GPA calculator, content, advertising-supported pages, affiliate links, and related tools (collectively, the "Site"). The Site is operated by CalcMyGrades ("CalcMyGrades," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms are written for a basic United States-oriented utility website that uses advertising, Google AdSense or similar ad networks, analytics, and affiliate links. They are not legal advice. You should have counsel review them before publishing, especially if CalcMyGrades adds accounts, contact forms, paid services, email collection, user-generated content, mobile apps, or features directed to children.

1. DESCRIPTION OF THE SITE

CalcMyGrades provides a simple GPA calculation tool and related informational content. The Site is intended to help users estimate or calculate GPA based on information they enter.

Unless the Site clearly states otherwise:

- GPA calculations are performed in your browser.
- You do not need an account to use the basic calculator.
- You should not enter personal, sensitive, confidential, or official academic records into the calculator.
- We do not provide official academic records, transcripts, grade verification, academic advising, admissions advice, financial aid advice, employment advice, tax advice, or legal advice.

2. EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL USE ONLY

The Site is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

GPA rules, grading scales, weighted-grade policies, credit calculations, repeated-course policies, pass/fail treatment, transfer-credit treatment, honors/AP/IB weighting, dual-enrollment treatment, program requirements, scholarship rules, admissions rules, and institutional policies vary by school, college, university, program, jurisdiction, and academic authority.

You are solely responsible for verifying any GPA result with your school, college, university, academic advisor, registrar, employer, scholarship provider, admissions office, or other relevant authority.

CalcMyGrades does not guarantee that any GPA calculation is accurate, complete, accepted by an institution, or suitable for any particular purpose.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

- use the Site in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation;
- enter personal, sensitive, confidential, or official academic records unless the Site specifically requests them;
- enter Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial information, health information, school login credentials, transcripts, or passwords into the calculator;
- interfere with or disrupt the Site's operation, security, servers, advertising systems, affiliate tracking systems, analytics systems, or networks;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or related systems;
- use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools in a manner that burdens, disrupts, or abuses the Site;
- bypass, manipulate, or interfere with advertising, affiliate tracking, security controls, or usage limits in a way that harms the Site or violates applicable law;
- copy, frame, mirror, scrape, or republish substantial portions of the Site without permission;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except to the extent allowed by law;
- use the Site to transmit malware, spam, or harmful code;
- misrepresent your affiliation with CalcMyGrades.

4. NO ACCOUNT OR PERSONAL DATA REQUIREMENT

CalcMyGrades does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the basic GPA calculator.

You should not submit names, email addresses, student ID numbers, transcripts, school login credentials, government identification numbers, financial information, health information, or other sensitive information through the calculator.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

5. ADVERTISING-SUPPORTED SITE

The Site may be supported by advertising. We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense, Google Ad Manager, other advertising networks, ad exchanges, demand partners, direct advertisers, or similar third-party advertising services.

Advertisements may be contextual, personalized, non-personalized, interest-based, behavioral, or otherwise selected based on information available to us or our advertising partners, subject to applicable law, user choices, and the Site's Privacy Policy.

We do not control every advertisement shown by third-party advertising services. We are not responsible for the content, claims, offers, availability, pricing, policies, products, services, websites, or practices of advertisers or advertising networks.

Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser. CalcMyGrades is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your interaction with advertisers or third-party ads.

6. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE

CalcMyGrades may participate in affiliate advertising programs. Some links on the Site may be affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and later sign up for, purchase, or interact with a third-party product or service, we may earn a commission, referral fee, bounty, or other compensation at no additional cost to you.

This compensation may influence whether certain links, products, services, offers, or merchants appear on the Site and how they are displayed or ordered.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, CalcMyGrades does not own, operate, endorse, warrant, or guarantee third-party products or services linked from the Site. You are responsible for reviewing the applicable third party's terms, privacy policy, pricing, refund policy, cancellation policy, and other conditions before engaging with that third party.

Any product or service references are provided for informational purposes only. They are not academic, financial, legal, admissions, or professional advice.

7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, advertisers, merchants, affiliate partners, educational resources, tools, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, claims, policies, security, availability, accuracy, pricing, offers, products, services, or practices.

Your use of third-party websites and services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, software, code, layout, calculators, templates, and other content, is owned by CalcMyGrades or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial, educational use.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, scrape, reproduce, publicly display, or create derivative works from the Site except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

9. FEEDBACK

If you send us suggestions, ideas, corrections, feature requests, comments, or other feedback, you grant CalcMyGrades a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, copy, modify, publish, distribute, and incorporate that feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

Do not send confidential or proprietary information as feedback.

10. AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES TO THE SITE

We may modify, suspend, limit, monetize, place advertising on, or discontinue all or part of the Site at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, limitation, monetization, or discontinuation of the Site.

We may change calculator formulas, grading-scale assumptions, content, ad placements, affiliate relationships, links, or Site features at any time.

11. NO WARRANTY REGARDING ADS, AFFILIATE OFFERS, OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT

Third-party ads, sponsored links, affiliate links, offers, products, services, and websites are provided by third parties. CalcMyGrades does not warrant, endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for them.

We do not guarantee that any advertised or linked product or service will be accurate, available, safe, lawful, suitable, compatible with your needs, or offered on the terms shown. Prices, offers, availability, and terms may change without notice.

You should independently evaluate third-party products and services before buying, subscribing, signing up, or providing information to any third party.

12. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALCMYGRADES DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

- THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE;
- GPA RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR ACCEPTED BY ANY SCHOOL OR AUTHORITY;
- ADVERTISEMENTS, AFFILIATE LINKS, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, SAFE, AVAILABLE, OR SUITABLE;
- DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED;
- THE SITE WILL BE FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so some disclaimers may not apply to you.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALCMYGRADES AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, ADVERTISING PARTNERS, AFFILIATE PARTNERS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, LOST OPPORTUNITIES, ACADEMIC CONSEQUENCES, ADMISSIONS CONSEQUENCES, EMPLOYMENT CONSEQUENCES, DEVICE DAMAGE, THIRD-PARTY TRANSACTIONS, ADVERTISING-RELATED LOSSES, AFFILIATE-LINK-RELATED LOSSES, OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CALCMYGRADES' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO CALCMYGRADES TO USE THE SITE IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE; OR (B) US$100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some limitations may not apply to you.

14. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CalcMyGrades and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, advertising partners, affiliate partners, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:

- your use or misuse of the Site;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of any law or third-party right;
- information you submit through the Site;
- your interaction with third-party advertisers, merchants, affiliate partners, or linked websites;
- your reliance on any GPA result, content, ad, affiliate link, sponsored link, or third-party offer.

15. TERMINATION

We may block, suspend, limit, or terminate access to the Site at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, interfered with the Site's operation or monetization, or used the Site in a harmful, abusive, or unlawful manner.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, feedback, advertising and affiliate disclaimers, disclaimers of warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute provisions.

16. CHILDREN AND MINORS

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 may not use the Site or submit personal information through the Site.

Users under 18 should use the Site only with involvement of a parent or guardian where required by applicable law.

17. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Site with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
